The Life Of The King (La Vida Del Rey) is the story of an
adventuresome young boy, Rey, with an independent
spirit and an over-active imagination.
After being separated from his parents Rey decides that
he must go into hiding to escape the curse that has been
placed on his family. Armed with only the embellished
stories of neighbors and relatives, and with what he has
read in books, Rey decides to make a life for himself in
the wilderness - which is the woods that border his poor
neighborhood.
With the help of his close friend Marcos and an eccentric
hermit, he embarks on a journey to experience true
adventure, save his family, and unwittingly tighten his
loose grasp on the harsh realities of the world around
him.
